And they were more or less saved by luck or the enemies being absolutely dumbfounded and decides to toy or underestimate them. Speaking of them, I found a lot of inconsistencies with their characters, especially Kell, whom Lila saved a bunch of times depsite Kell being the superior person in terms of strength. ![]() Another thing is that Schwab loves writing her characters and I can feel it a lot from Kell and Delilah. Schwab uses few words to tell us what words we don't understand their meanings almost quickly. ![]() The Characters and Worldbuilding were written so neatly and displayed such level of worldbuilding. However, I learned to like it after finishing. People said her writing is simplistic and magical, while she does seem to write like a fairy tale, I wasn't used to this type of writing so It was quite difficult to follow through. So I was impressed when reading the first book.Īt first, I was having some difficulty adjusting to Schwab's writing. The synopsis hooked me to the story, 4 londons, magic going ballistic, knife wielding dualist, Antari's which are Avatars + Bloodbenders/Heartrenders. So this is my first VE Schwab book and I am very excited since a lot of people were giving huge praise to this specific book in general. ![]() 7/6/2023 0 Comments Jean genet querelle de brest![]() ![]() He has a look-alike brother, Robert, who is a gigolo in the local brothel in Brest called La Feria.
